IPAD PRO 2020: IPHONE 11 PRO-INSPIRED DESIGN

Apple is about to refresh its line of iPad Pro in 2020. The OnLeaks leaker has just released redus that give us an idea of what the new tablets should look like. The design remains broadly the same as that of the 2018 iPad Pro with the exception of the square module on the back which houses three photo sensors like the iPhone 11 Pro.
There were rumors that Apple would launch new iPad Pro‌ in 2019, but this was not done in September or October during a second conference like in 2018. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, they would finally be launched in the first quarter of 2020. The photo part is one of the few aspects on which the iPad Pro can really benefit from a substantial improvement and it has been whispered for several months that the next models s ” will align with the configuration of the iPhone 11 Pro including a ToF module.
It is now OnLeaks, the generally well-informed leaker that supports this thesis. New renditions of the iPad Pro 2020s based on the latest information confirm the presence of three rear photo sensors arranged in a square module. This aspect put aside, the design of the tablets does not change compared to that of the models of 2018. Apple would remain on the same formats of 11 and 12.9 inches with dimensions of 248 x 178.6 x 5.9 mm for the first, namely same as the iPad Pro 11 ″ of 2018. The thickness increases to 7.8 mm taking into account the protuberance of the container of the three photo sensors.
There is one surprising detail that emerges from these renderings: the use of a metal back for the 11-inch iPad Pro and a glass back for the 12.9-inch version. OneLeaks published a new tweet to provide more precision: “In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I cannot confirm the material of the new iPad Pro and for this, I designed one of the renderings with the back in aluminum and the other with a glass back. Just to give an overview of the two possibilities ”.
